Meet Dr Henry Shaw – Dentist
Dr Henry Shaw grew up in Christchurch and studied dentistry at Otago University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction in 2018 and was awarded an academic prize from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr Shaw began practising as a dentist in Taupo where he not only developed a love for general dentistry, but also a particular interest in orthodontics, oral surgery and restorative dentistry.
He returned to Christchurch in 2022 and joined Highsted Dental with the aim to provide quality and gentle dental care to his patients.
He says, “The goal for all my patients is for them to be able to smile and chew with confidence while enjoying life to the fullest.”
In his spare time, Dr Shaw enjoys being in the outdoors, whether it be skiing, rock climbing, tramping or biking. He has also begun learning piano, yoga and jiu jitsu.
